OOAK American Girl Custom 2024 Solar Eclipse Doll Solara

Solara was inspired by the 2024 solar eclipse. She was created from a preloved Kanani 18 inch AG doll. Her eyes have been repainted in magical glittering tones of teal and sapphire with moon and star sequins. She has a complete face up using acrylic paint, colored pencils, and soft pastels: feathered eyebrows, delicate eyelashes, blush, and shading. Solara also has a celestial design painted on her face. Although all artwork has been sealed, this doll should be handled gently.

Her new prism wig is by Dollofakind. This wig has been permanently attached with waterproof craft contact adhesive. It is heat safe and tangle resistant. To maintain the style, mist with water and finger curl.

I have customized this doll in my smoke-free, pet-free studio. She has been thoroughly cleaned, restrung, and given a new neck string. Her fabric torso is sewn from the  thinner version American Girl fabric. There are scratches/marks/shines/rubs from handling (mainly on her fingers). Solara will arrive in my handmade outfit shown and with her Artist's Certificate of Authenticity.
