Flight of Fantasy Collection - Fantasy for Dolls Collaboration Series

Introducing An, my one-of-a-kind Chinese dragon snake princess. Pronounced "ahn", (安) her name means "peace" in Chinese and reflects her desire for harmony. An was inspired by the folklore of the Chinese zodiac, with 2025 being the year of the Wood Snake. The snake in Chinese culture symbolizes creativity, wisdom, and rebirth: as the snake sheds its skin.

In designing Princess An, I began with a gently preloved Nanea American Girl doll. Beautiful brown eyes were installed and a complete face up was given using professional art materials. Princess An's new face paint features feathered eyebrows, wispy eyelashes, blush, and lip shading. Although all artwork has been sealed and has UV protection, this doll should be handled gently.

Her beautiful wavy "Auburn Nights" wig is by Bbeautydolls.com. It is heat safe and tangle resistant. To maintain the style, mist with water and finger brush. Her ears are pierced to fit human-sized earrings.

I have customized this doll in my smoke-free, pet-free studio. There are light marks/shines/rubs on the vinyl from handling (please see last photo of stains on legs). I have replaced the zip tie at her neck with a new neck string.

An will be accompanied by her 3-D printed pet dragon snake, Beibei. Pronounced "BAY-bay", (贝贝)her name means "precious" and "talented" and is associated with prosperity. 

Princess An will arrive in her handmade ensemble reflecting the beauty of the traditional Chinese hanfu dress style. The beaded belt and shimmering pink lower dress have snap closure in back. Also included are her head piece, jewelry, sash, stockings, and golden slippers.
