Custom American Girl Doll - Flora

Flora was created from a gently preloved American Girl doll. I have given her Summer's beautiful blue eyes and a complete face up using professional art materials. Her special features include feathered eyebrows, wispy eyelashes, facial contouring, rosy cheeks, and soft pink lips. Although all artwork has been sealed and has UV protection, this doll should be handled gently. 

She has an adorable new brunette wig styled in lovely soft ringlets of synthetic mohair. It has been permanently attached with craft contact adhesive. The hair fibers are heat safe and tangle resistant. To maintain the style, mist with water and gently finger curl. Her ears are pierced for human sized earrings and she is wearing gold star with beaded dangles.

Flora will arrive in her handmade 1860s-style outfit, designed especially for her. This ensemble includes a beaded evening gown, jewelry, headband, gloves, petticoat, pantaloons, stockings, and shoes. The gown is sewn of cotton fabric featuring a striped floral design in hues of blue, white, and gold. The separate collar is edged in golden lace. This gown has a fully-lined bodice, serged seams, and metal snap closure. The beadwork features glass beads, pearls, diamonds and sapphire pendant.

Delicate blue paper pansies adorn Flora's beaded headband along one side. Her elegant gloves are sewn of white lycra. The powder blue petticoat has an elastic waistband. She has white poly-cotton pantaloons and knit stockings. Her blue slippers are by Bbeauty. I have added tiny paper roses to the bow centers. Her lacy floral fan is by AG.

Flora was designed in my smoke-free, pet-free studio. She has been thoroughly cleaned and restrung. Her limbs are tight and poseable. Her body tag has been removed. There may be light marks/shines/rubs on the vinyl from handling. Her Artist's Certificate of Authenticity is included.
