Custom Día de Muertos Doll

Rosa was created from a gently preloved American Girl doll. I have given her beautiful brown eyes and a complete face up using professional art materials. She has a glittering sugar skull face design and rose body art. Although all artwork has been sealed and has UV protection, this doll should be handled gently.

Her luscious black to gray ombre wig was designed by ZaZou Custom Dolls. It has been permanently attached with craft contact adhesive. The hair fibers are heat safe and tangle resistant. To maintain the style, mist with water, gently brush, and finger curl.

Rosa will arrive in her handmade floral ensemble created especially for her. The embroidered black and magenta velvet gown has serged seams and metal snap closure in back. Her ears are pierced and have human-sized skull crystal dangle earrings. The matching chocker is strung with plum, gold, and smokey glass beads and is secured with a magnetic clasp. Her elaborate ribbon crown ties in back. It is adorned with large silk flowers and a crystal sugar skull charm centerpiece.

I have customized this doll in my smoke-free, pet-free studio. She has been thoroughly cleaned and restrung. There may be light marks/shines/rubs on the vinyl from handling. She has a new neck string. Her Artist's Certificate of Authenticity is included.
