Custom Día de los Muertos Doll

Poppy was created from a gently preloved American Girl doll. I have given her beautiful brown eyes and a complete face up using professional art materials. She has a sugar skull face design complete with shimmering sequins and glitter. Although all artwork has been sealed and has UV protection, this doll should be handled gently. 

Her luscious black & brown wig was designed by DallasDollCo. It has been permanently attached with craft contact adhesive. The hair fibers are heat safe and tangle resistant. To maintain the style, mist with water, gently brush, and finger curl.

Poppy will arrive in her handmade floral ensemble created just for her. The beaded gown has serged seams, black tulle underlay, lined bodice, and metal snap closure. The delicate dangle earrings and bracelet are by SataHaykushDesigns on Etsy. The beaded necklace closes with a lobster style clasp. 

I have customized this doll in my smoke-free, pet-free studio. There may be light marks/shines/rubs on the vinyl from handling. She has a new neck string. Her cloth body has been restitched in back near her neck and her arm is from a Tenney AG doll. (Please see photos.) Her Artist's Certificate of Authenticity is included.
