Sapphire was created from a new Corinne AG 18 inch doll. I have painted her eyes in shimmering copper, sapphire blue, and umber hues. She has a complete face up using acrylic paint and soft pastels: feathered eyebrows, delicate eyelashes, blush, and shading. Although all artwork has been sealed (Mister Super Clear with UV protection or Professional Liquitex), this doll should be handled gently.
Her new luscious blonde wig is by Bbeauty. This wig has been permanently attached with waterproof craft contact adhesive, E6000. It is heat safe and tangle resistant.
I have customized this doll in my smoke-free, pet-free studio. There may be light marks/rubs on the vinyl from handling during customization. I have replaced the zip tie at her neck with a new neck string. Sapphire will arrive in my handmade gown shown and with her Artist's Certificate of Authenticity. Her baby dragon friend will accompany her to her new home.
