OOAK American Girl Doll Custom Onyx

Onyx was created from a new Truly Me 18 Inch American doll with dark skin tone and the Josefina face mold. I have given her beautiful blue AG eyes and metallic espresso eyeshadow. She has a complete face up using acrylic paint and soft pastels: feathered eyebrows, delicate eyelashes, blush, and shading. Although all paint has been sealed (Mister Super Clear with UV protection or Professional Liquitex), this doll should be handled gently.

Her new luscious black wig is by DallasDollCo. I have added sewn-in highlights of dark cherry. This wig has been permanently attached with waterproof craft contact adhesive, E6000. It is heat safe and tangle resistant.

I have customized this doll in my smoke-free, pet-free studio. The zip tie at her neck has been replaced with a new neck string. The vinyl may have light marks/shines/rubs from handling during customization. Onyx will arrive in my handmade outfit shown and with her Artist's Certificate of Authenticity.
